Morgan is at Berlin, in Jackson County. He is probably making for this place, or the ford below Buffington Island. Fitch's boat is here. There are about 200 Home Guards here, poorly armed. The roads leading here are blockaded with trees for 15 miles out. Can hear nothing definite from Judah or Hobson.
