I have sent one of my aides to reconnoiter between Morton's and Germanna Fords. He reports that at Morton's Ford no evidence can be found of the enemy toward our left, but there is a signal station of the enemy's just opposite of the point. Our signal officer reports from Stony Mountion that the enemy have masked all his batteries with brush. Small parties of the enemy are still at work.
