III. The Fifth Iowa Cavalry will proceed without delay to Columbia, Tenn., and report thence by telegraph to Brigadier General R. W. Johnson, commanding Sixth Cavalry Division, for duty. All unserviceable horses will be turned in at the Cavalry Bureau, and the dismounted men left to secure remounts and join the regiment as soon as ready for the field.
