2. The resignation of Brigadier General John McNeil having been accepted, Colonel Chester Harding, Forty-third Regiment Missouri Infantry Volunteers, will assume command of the District of Central Missouri.

6. The post of Fort Lyon is hereby transferred from the District of the Plains to the District of the Upper Arkansas.

8. Company B, Fifty-second Regiment Wisconsin Infantry Volunteers, will forthwith proceed to Jefferson City, Mo. Upon arrival at that point the company commander will report for duty by letter to Colonel C. Harding, commanding District of Central Missouri at Warrensburg, Mo. The quartermaster's department furnish the necessary transportation.

11. The Fifty-first Regiment Missouri Infantry Volunteers, and that portion of the Seventeenth Illinois Cavalry Volunteers now on duty in the District of North Missouri, will proceed, without delay to Warrensburg, Mo., and report to Colonel Chester Harding, commanding District of Central Missouri. The infantry will be distributed along the Missouri River at Lexington, Waverly, Miami, and such other points as the district commander may designate.
