I. This command will move at 8 a. m., in the following order: First, Second Brigade in advance; second, Battery B, First Michigan Artillery; third, pioneer corps and tool wagons; fourth, four regiments First Brigade; fifth, ammunition wagons; sixth, ambulance corps; seventh, division headquarters, regimental, and detachments wagons; eighth, one regiment First Brigade, rear guard.

Commanding Seventeenth Army Corps:

The major-General commanding directs me to say that, in accordance with General Sherman's Special Field Orders, Numbers 130 (of which you have a copy), you will, as fast as General Slocum gains ground to the right, vacate the position indicated for your command in Special Field Orders, Numbers 191, extract, 2, from these headquarters, moving to the right of the plank road and to the rear of General Osterhaus' position.

The orders for to-morrow are as follows:

1. Brigadier General M. D. Leggett, commanding Third Division, will have the advance, and will move back on the main road, starting at 7 a. m.

2. Major General J. A. Mower, commanding First Division, will follow the Third Division.

3. The division trains will move together after the First Division, in the same order as their divisions, except the ordnance and ambulance trains, which will follow their respective divisions.
