I have had the ground examined between my works and those of the enemy in front. The ground is reported wet, but hard. They could not get near enough [to see] whether or not there is a ditch in front of the work, as there were working parties of the enemy outside.

The troops of this command will be prepared to march to-morrow at 7. 30 a. m. Order of march: First, pioneer corps; second, Second Brigade; third, battery; fourth, Third Brigade; fifth, First Brigade; sixth, ambulance corps; seventh, ordnance train; eighth, the train of this division will follow the train of the Third Division.
