GENERAL: I am instructed to send military railroad operatives to Savannah to put the captured rolling-stock in good order, and perform any service you may require of the railroad. Colonel W. W. Wright, chief engineer, is ordered upon this duty, and will shortly leave for Savannah with a sufficient force.
